The Pars are undefeated in 8 League games - the longest current unbeaten run of any team in the Championship.
Based on first half results only, Dunfermline would be fifth in the Championship but only 2 points off the fourth place play-off position - instead of the actual 6 point gap. The Pars would be above Falkirk, who we trail by those 6 points, and only 2 points behind Dundee United, and only 3 points off second place. (See tables below).
Lewis Martin (pictured above) made his 100th appearance for Dunfermline at Alloa (96 starts, 4 sub), with 3 goals in those 100 games. Still only 20 years old, Lewis made his first team debut as an 89th minute substitute in the 1-0 win at Morton in April 2013, aged 17. His first start for the team was in the 4-2 win at Ayr in December 2013.
Only 2 Pars players have been in every match day squad this season: David Hutton and Michael Moffat. Neither, however, are among the top 6 players for minutes played. Lee Ashcroft has played more minutes this season than any other Dunfermline player. Here are the players who have played most minutes in all competitions this season:
2610 - Lee Ashcroft
2160 - Andy Geggan
2004 - Lewis Martin
1872 - Jason Talbot
1842 - Kallum Higginbotham
1725 - Nicky Clark
